Week 2 I spent 7 hours building a sturdy and well-equipped titanium mining base. I'm solo at this point, so it's hauling a lot of heavy materials to I2.
> "I've been going hard these two weeks, guess I'll go to bed at 10pm for once"
> 11pm the 30-man guild (my own faction) decides to wipe my base for no reason
> log on at 6am to one of them picking up the last of my plastone shouting "should have kept a better eye on your base, buddy!"
> Keep killing him with a rocket launcher thankfully left on my inv while he tries to get his thopter off the island
I'm pissed.
> Stick around for 4 hrs, then go to the guild's base with the rocket launcher and start wailing on it
> unknown to me, another solo was on the other side of their base hitting it with rockets
> we eventually meet in the middle
> guy: "you know they're pieces of shit when 2 solos randomly team up to take out their base
> We manage to find the console and destroy the whole thing
> get mobbed by 6 extremely pissed members who must have gotten the alert on Discord
My best and only base raiding experience. Now everyone has bases on E and won't bother building anything more than a temporary hanger in the PvP zones.
