I wanted to do a summary like this for every thread, complete with a running joke where one of the panels would be something that didn't actually happen. This image is probably my most high effort piece for this series. It took me like three days of free time and I still had to omit the first half of the thread from the summary. I settled for textual summaries and a manga-inspired cast list for later threads.
For the cast lists, I tried to include at least one image from every unique poster I could identify.

Your idea looks like it would've been pretty neat if we played the battle straight. Especially since from your doodles it looks like they're fighting through astrally-projected spirits instead, which would probably be a lot easier to manipulate on a canvas than humanoid action shots.

This would've been rad. Imagine if their battle actually turned out to be a "battle of the bands" type and everybody throughout the story filtered into the audience to cheer on the side of their choice. But then I'd be secretly hoping some musically-inclined anons would step up and post the Mokou riffs and Kaguya riffs battling each other.
