I started watching the very first superman move from 1978 for comparison, it's like a whole other world with the simpler narrative flow back then. It just focused on superman's origin, doing superman things, without worrying about franchise lore deconstructions and stuff. Nothing so easy-going may come upon the superhero genre again.
