china has always been rife with superstitions and folk religions, the 4 chinese schools of thought all aimed to dispel superstitions such as human sacrifices and prophecies, prevalent in táltos traditions too, while confucianism does place an importance on traditions it still makes a clear distinction between morally virtuous traditions and harmful superstitions, then of course táltos faith blended into christianity, saying that jesus was a táltos, and táltos are basically prophets sent by god, obviously this was always very touch and go, and táltos were tried in witch trials where they claimed that they were sent by god so it's not heresy, and there are some fantastical tales from christian times like kampó who could breathe fire and was immune to cannon balls, while fighting against ottoman invaders, but lmao of course what validity can you give to these tales, still it has absolutely 0 to do with confucianism lmao, if anything if it was present in china confucianism would want to get rid of it

not really, chinese scholars wanted a central ideology for china ~2000 years ago and funded 4 main schools of thought, confucianism being one of them, which talks specifically to chinese people about social harmony, hierarchy, virtue, cultivating good traditions and getting rid of harmful superstitions
