>go to Auschwitz two months ago.
>expect wooden doors everywhere because /pol/ said so.
>Chambers 2-5 are destroyed and have custom built underground death rooms. Chamber 1 which is commonly seen everywhere is not even in the extermination camp but the admin camp and is actually a reconstruction built after the war using pictures of the original. The tour guide explicitly tells you this but its on the exact site where around 46,000 were gassed to death between September 1941 and December 1942 when all killings transferred to Auschwitz II down the road, the building became an SS storage house and air raid shelter. The chimney and hatches inside are built from the original specifications and two of the remade furnaces are built from the original scrap left behind.
>steel door at the entrance.
>wooden doors are only in the side rooms and in the admin buildings which are all intact and are now a museum spanning all of Camp 1.
>look at ceiling
>see the hatch for dropping pellets
>visit the ruins of the chambers at the end of Birkenau and clearly see how well designed it was with the four chambers and five crematoria all in very close range of each other. They had elevators for corpses in Crematoria 2 and 3. Clearly visible.
You lied or were deceived anons.
Most people(including yourselves) only show the small remade chamber today at Auschwitz 1 which is the central camp for admin, it was the test run for the main event, most people denying it actually ignore Auschwitz 2 down the road where 98% of all deaths happened. Auschwitz 1 could only burn 340 bodies a day at peak.
Auschwitz 2 could burn upwards of 6,000 a day using four custom designed gas chambers and five active crematoriums and for a brief period of time between May and July 1944 over 13,000 a day were burned using open air burn pits as well during the mass extermination of the Hungarian Jews which were arriving at a rate of 14,000 per day from trains.
