The 5th gen was an experimental era that is nostalgic but has MUCH more slop than 4th gen. Many of the beloved games from this time like the ever overrated Resident Evil, are complete garbage because they didn't know how to make 3D controls. Other games like Moblio64, DK64, FF7 and SOTN are directly inferior in every way to the 16 bit games that came first (unless you're a pleb casual)

This is the era everyone loves for "the aesthetics :0 muh vaporwave" OR they love because "its when i was a kid!". 4TH gen is superior for people who are objective and have taste, not just nostalgia whether real or retroactive/borninthewrong gen zoomer shit
