Alright since a want to be attention whore today so i must tell something about that i 100% pro.
If precise fortifications.
Today i tell how build a blindage for crew/squad as some artillery retard in SMO.
First stage just dig-out some square hole 6-8 meters long and 3.5-5 meters wide, depth nearly 2.5 meters.
On this stage also makes initial stair. Also must to mention that dig-out ground(called brustwehr) must be at least 25 cm away of hole enge.
Second stage making main supporting frame like columns and roof log(that's the reason why needed 25cm gap from edge). Also makes some central plank perpendicular to colums. After this plank would help covering walls with other planks or OSB/plywood sheets on stage 3.
On third stage roof completelly covered with logs and walls get covered by %MaterialName% so basically on this moment obviously happened most important moment of fortification because on numbers of logs layers(called Nakat) depends roof protection. In practice we do only 1 layer of logs and just drop 0.5 meters of ground on top because anything more powerfull than M42/M46 cluster just blow-out even blindage with 3 nakats. Like drop of TM-62 land mine
Stage 4
On this stage most important thing - making roof waterproof. Commonly we instantly lay PE film on logs and very accurate and slightly sprinkle some ground to make surface more flat. When surface is flattened then we lay 2nd layer of film that would be waterproof just make 1 meter length margin on each side. On this stage can make some bed/reinforce stairs/cover walls with PE insulation and lay down some electrics.
After all this shit complete you can start camouflaging your blindage and make another inor things
