imo their culpability is a grey area at best because they’re androids, so their issues could ultimately just trace back to their programming. granted the events of the recent anniversary story were horrific, but idk if we could say with certainty if it was a matter of Popola developing her own free will and seeking vengeance, or if such chaos was just an unplanned outcome that was permitted by her programming, given the failure of her main objective combined with her experiences
