Nobody is asking for average looking characters (although I personally wouldn't mind more of that), but if you're going to make a character from a specific country, they should actually have the character look somewhat like they come from that country, or at the very least have something exaggerated about their design that positively represents their nation.
You never saw anyone complain about Hakan not repping Turkey properly even though he's got the skin pigment of raw meat and baby blue hair because he's fucking based and makes Turkish oil wrestling look cool. This chick is just another samebody sameface character that blends into the rest of the Tekken girls. Nothing about her design tells me about Madagascar.
