This game dominates most of my PS1 memories and yet I've never seen it mentioned here even once. I used to love trying to get as far as my kid brain could manage. Most of my attempts ended on the city at sunset level due to either the last gauntlet of enemies or letting the convoy escape (instant loss condition.) I remember getting to the forest level that comes after only once back then and that one was a swift kick in the head from the distant bunkers that would nuke you from outside of render distance. Good times.
