honestly, some people are mocking us for being hyped about a mere summer league trophy/ring.
You don't know what it's like to be a true Hornet.
You don't know what it's like to not go to the playoffs every year and watch from the bleachers other teams being happy for at least 4 extra games.
You don't know what it's like to lose many games, only to not get the first pick in lottery.
You don't know what it's like, to be constantly mocked by others, and not being able to say shit about it because you're misery
You don't know what it's like, whenever you get a kinda talented player, ESPN and the league/commissioner actively try to get that player to the Lakers, Knicks or Celtics because muh big market, making shitty mock trades stressing you out.
You don't know what it's like, to have a shitty general manager who buys into it and make those poor choices trading your best players for peanuts/busts.
You don't know what it's like to lose your team and get it relocated
You don't know what it's like to hold the worst season record in history
You don't know what's like to have zero NBA titles.

Yet we're still here, taking hits here and there, and hated for being misery when we try hard to improve wit no progress. It's sad, but i still like this team regardles. Might be a toxic, abusive relationship of being deceived every season, but that's the choice i did when i start rooting for them.
So please, for just one time, let us being able to enjoy a little moment of peace. We won't get another one like this soon enough, let us just live the moment. That delusion. Just for 1 time.

Hell, even the NBA played into it and changed its banner and made a graphic about it. That's how sorry we are. The worst, most dogshit team in the league's history. And proud of it. No bandwagoning, here since day 1.
