Let me explain
Christian Atheism is an ideology that follows or adapts Christianities moral teachings and aesthetics without literal interpretation regarding the existence of God or other supernatural elements of the Bible. It's closely related to Death of God Theology. I would argue the majority of Christians alive today are Christian Atheists, because true Christianity involves a lot of violence and superstition that are fundamentally incompatible with modern society. Most Christians alive today treat the Church as an overgloryfied social club, and they are quick to handwave any contradictions or parts of the Bible that may be less socially acceptable as just "Open to interpretation" or "God works in mysterious ways" which actually puts Christianity at about the same point that Judaism was by the 15th century. Most people who identify as Christian also do not fundamentally practice it outside of Church
