have you two decided to forget about the existence of mods? Just like with every dlc, Tyrone made them into frameworks for modders to add whatever the fuck they want.
If anything, Odyssey proves my argument. With a few defs you can add any space shit you want(and we already saw space content mods within a few days of release), just like how biotech simplified making alien species.

IMO that is precisely why ribaorld is as successful as it is. I imagine there could be difficulty with making a proper space travel dlc now because the game would need to keep track of all the different planets and states. But if we're talking about rimworld 2 then I fail to see the problem. Just the ability to travel between world with a pimped up gravship and no additional content related to the act would be enough, modders would fill in the rest.
