Doesnt market cap normally correlate to stocks and bonds though? like, the stock cant be worth more than the total equity of the company

Market cap is just amount of the coin x supply of coins available, maybe im a retard but theres nothing stopping the market cap from, on paper, being worth more than there is money on earth

I'm coming from a position of ignorance here, but why not? im genuinly curious
