I love Dav Pilkey's work. It might be an acquired taste for some, but his deceptively simple art style still oozes appeal. I do feel his Captain Underpants characters translated to CG better than his Dog Man characters, though. Adding fancy lighting and texturing to characters modeled closely after what should be children's scribbles was NOT the way to go
