You sidestep once then twice, deftly avoiding both attacks. You rein in your excitement and dial in your focus as the animals come in for another attack. Sidestep then lean away from a melee attack. Lean then sidestep. You continue your practice and work to minimize your movements. Slowly your old habits and techniques begin to come back to you. You needed to see both attacks as a single one. To quickly find the optimal angle to avoid both with a single motion rather than react to each individually. Soon enough you were easily dodging both boars. It still wasn't at the level you were used to back in your prime but it was a good start. You continue for a while longer before the boars start to get tired and their attacks slow down long enough that you were starting to dodge them individually again. With your training partners no longer up to the task, you engage them in a straight up fight. They posed no threat to you and you think that even if they were full of energy, you'd be able to kill them without getting hit.

Objective: Kill 3/10 boars

You start gathering the meat required for the quest. Luckily you didn't need any gathering skills for this quest but the fact that you could get some brought up the question. How long did you intend to play this game? You frown at that thought. It wasn't a matter of your current session but rather if you intended to fully commit to the game as a whole once more. Before you could ruminate too long on the matter of responsibility and leisure, your harvesting is interrupted by clapping. You quickly whip around to face the source of the sound, fists ready for a fight. You come face to face with a young woman dressed in the classic mage ensemble of a robes and pointed hat. What caught your eye was the intricate staff she was hugging closely. That wasn't anywhere near what a newbie weapon looked like. In fact, if you weren't mistaken that looked like a weapon chassis. A very rare and powerful base weapon that could be upgraded and customized to the wielder's desires but the required materials to upgrade them, on top of the ultra rare drop rate, made them every player's dream drop. All the pro players had one, mostly funded by the massive guilds their clubs owned. So why did this girl have one especially on a new server that wasn't even a day old? The only thing you could think of was that it was transferred over from a different server. There was no way it dropped here on the tutorial island. You weren't even sure if that was possible. Was she using a smurf account? Perhaps she was trying to set you up for an ambush? Not like you had much in the way of items to drop and players didn't start losing exp on death until after they left the island.
