If you chug that kind of shit like a Diablo protag, it really should have an eventually negative change to your body/mind. Someone write a story about a questing warrior, his life is ever violent(fighting against orcs or demons or whatever), so, he was always wounded. This led him to be chugging healing potions all the time. But after so many healing potions his bodies natural healing abilities have started to fade, he needs a healing potion for even a tiny bruise or cut because it wont go away naturally anymore.
