Sorry for blogposting, I don't have anyone to talk to, especially about things like this.
Disregard my previous post if you wish. What I really wanted to say is, thank you for pointing out the resources, I will read them. Also excellent of you to mention physical appearance, as actual male autists are often unaware of it. Personally I am doing well, I am gaining muscle. I got a lot of money too, I am just in the process of learning how to show it, because turns out your bank account doesn't matter if you're driving 2000's honda and dressed in your high school clothes.
Also to normies reading this, I was unbothered when typing my previous post.
Mentioning this as I am aware that what is normal to me, may appear terrible in the eyes of others. I have a funny story about this actually.
>Be me, working at Big Corpo
>Picture a company's retreat. Dinner time, everyone dressed nicely.
>Alcohol and relaxed atmosphere made people nostalgic.
>Everyone at the table is starting to share funny stories from their childhood.
>My turn comes next.
>Not many funny stories, can't think of anything.
>suddenly, eureka!
>Tell them about how once when I was about 9 my drunk father noticed how I was sheltering food when he approached me, he got annoyed at this and he fought me over a plate of soup.
>Detailed recollection of how he won, then he puked into the soup he stole from me. Fell over, pissed himself and went to sleep.
>Finish with a killer "nuff said, I didn't have any soup that evening" line, cue laughter
>the table is silent
>everyone is either cringing or disgusted
>panik, try to play it off as a joke
>my team leader picks up the slack, going along with the dark humour joke that went awry thing
>we still chat and finish dinner but mood is ruined
For some time I genuinely thought that what offended people was the grossness, the puking and pissing part. I mean gross out humour is a thing, but I thought it was too crude and spicy for middle class people.
