>NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T FORCE DEVS TO SUPPORT GAMES FOREVER!
>what? you just want to be able to run dedicated servers in private without relying on continued support of a publisher?
>AIIIIIIIIEEEEEE *short circuits*

TL;DW:
>force companies to ensure people can play singleplayer offline and give out server software when games reach end of life, or at least make a big and obvious disclaimer that you won't be able to play the game after the publisher's server shuts down (like those health warning on cigarettes). This isn't difficult, this was standard fanfare 25 years ago.

Threadly question:
>What dead multiplayer games are currently completely unplayable because the servers were pulled down and there was no private alternative?
For me, it's Ace Combat Infinity, MAG and Titanfall 1. Ironically, Titanfall is suffering from the opposite problem - the servers are up, but you can't buy the game, and you can't find use a disc unless you have the code for the deluxe edition for DLC maps BECAUSE THEY WERE PULLED OFF STORES.

I just want to be able to play singleplayer without needing an Internet connection, and I want to be able to host dedicated servers for multiplayer games. It's not hard to accomplish, they pulled it off ten years ago.

Dear shills, how does Stop Killing Games negatively affect you as a consumer?
