So Nightreign is supposed to be a Prequel but they gave up halfway through the lore and just said "fuck it whatever", right?

I don't care, lore in a spinoff game like this is pointless beyond the basics.
I just finished the game and watched a giant treeman walk away into the ocean. Absolutely hilarious how schizo Fromsoft is getting.
