I just got Deepseek-R1 32B running locally. Idk, am I supposed to be impressed? It's pretty retarded compared to Grok or the web-based Deepseek. Although I think those run 500B+ params and need hundreds of GB of VRAM. Still though, it can't answer many questions to any depth. Not even that good as an AI prompt generator. You can explicitly tell it to do stuff and it does the opposite lol. It can't seem to extrapolate stuff or do much without explicit instruction. And then if the instructions are too long, it f's up.
