I went to a german restaurant with my parents the other day for the first time.
They both ordered a hotdog, one with a bratwurst, one with a frankfurt, all accompanied by sauerkraut. They were mostly overwhelmed at the size of the sasusages and disliked how hard the skin was, plus they expressed pity and sympathy towards Germans for having to survive centuries upon centuries just with pork meat and cabbage. They also decided to never try German food ever again after that one time.
My currywurst was okay but Indian curry and even Japanese curry mog the shit out of this one.
