no, its more like the knowledge or information you gleaned from watching that stolen movie, is still valid. lets say you pirated an instructional video on how to tie a noose. then, you used that knowledge to make and sell nooses. or drew pictures of nooses and sold those. or wrote a song about tying nooses and sold that song. is that stuff no longer valid because you acquired the information from a stolen source? do you owe the creator of the noose instructional video all your profits related to nooses?
the company should absolutely be held at fault for stealing that shit in the first place, but that all the content produced from it is stolen? nah. judge was smart here.
