Largely all three of those don’t matter since it’s square’s incompetence that people rely on mods, have a bad story, and milk people dry with the cash shop. If they knew how to run an mmo better and adapt as they went then people wouldn’t really care about those problems.
So the greater of those evils is probably the cash shop, ignoring the fact that square “needs money” and somehow also mismanages it greatly.
