I think then to get people to think about inequality the first thing one should do is make case studies of supposed planets that have all of only a male and female version in various ages ofc of all males and females genetically the same like ident twins and talk about this one has a government, this one eats bananas mostly, this one lives in caves, this one is violent idk. Anyone who takes this concept seriously and studies it out of an earnest desire to accurately know what that would be like in a variety of biomes is to me an adult. This is the one and only requirement and test I can care about for maturity.
