We grew up with Japanese gaming and anime, as well as all the "ka-ra-tay" culture coming from there (even if Bruce Lee was the conflated icon of the pre-2000s martial arts culture). So, most adult, Western males have an element of weeb in them... It's just those who want to become a nip, who are the problem. Japan should be like a precious archeological find: Viewed only from a distance, and if, on rare occasions, handled, done so with kit gloves. For cultures which as homogenised as the Japanese, are also inherently very fragile -- it comes with not being directly exposed and suffused with foreign culture, which is what has preserved them thus far. Especially so with Japan, given how "backwards" it is to everything Western; with even its language often dubbed the "mirror" of English. So, for it to be flooded with the Third World would have and exponentially corrosive effect compared to what the West has experienced. The purer something is, the less resilient to change it has to be.
