I don't like people that are fans of things
I don't like people that are overly sociable
I don't like people that constantly try to appear cool
I would think [s4s] would be a good place for likewise losers to bond and engage in
But a lot of [s4s] has the abovementioned problems which makes me feel alienated from it.
I like it for making and seeing brainfart posts. But there's no active attempt to make elaborate, incoherent, and extravagant, exaggerated posts like /qa/ used to have because everything here is cooled down by casual irony and trying to be too cool for everything. there's no genuine dislike to bond over. like on /pol/ there would be more comradery to bond over hatred of different societal things. Here, if you show genuine passion or interest in anything, you get anons trying to undergird you because you're not being casually ironic like the rest of everybody else. People will probably reply to this defending the board and telling me to go to a different one, but like I said, I like brainfart threads (the poop ones being spammed I like). But the overall culture of the board of what it is today I don't like. I imagine since most people have left, the ones that post here still mainly do so out of habit and don't really like the interaction they get here that much.
I'd say this though. It did seem like there was more of an active attempt to be passionate and more-engaged with higher effort in posting like 5+ years ago. It's what led me to staying on the board. But at this point I can easily detect a difference. The board is active, but the posters express a deadening, like there's not much going on except loosely trying to goad people for attention and posting crude mspaint drawings, congratulating anons on them. I suspect peoples' lives just aren't doing all that well. It figures though for the type of person this board would attract.

Yeah, there are a couple others. But I haven't seen them around recently so I didn't include them.
