The American was half expecting everyone to look like they could pass as a book cover fantasy hero like Rowan and the bigger Dula - but most seem to be normal people, other than about one in four.
Elves- a familiar name for the pointed ear people with human looking faces, any of them could put on a hat including Elidi and be mistaken as human, unlike the others. A thought that makes David worry a little for their safety.
The Green ones, ‘Paghs’ was what they were called while the scouts been calling them Greens and Orcs. They seem typically stronger than the humans even with the blue robed Dula outlier, tho she says she is only half, with under bite of 2 tusk like teeth and wide noses, for some reason they make David think of a book he’s nephew talked about one, The Hopping? where they were called something the man can’t recall. There seems to be variations on the green skin tone, hair color and texture, and even the size of their tusks, with a barrel rolling man with a lead filling in the left tusk as he walks pass.
