You simply stand there in bewilderment by this man. He is by far today, the most strange person you have seen maybe even in your entire life. There were people like this back in the big city you lived in, though they were homeless, not local actors or supposed demon sages.
You blink for a moment, then shake your head to regain your thoughts. "Why is it you call yourself 'The Oni Sage'?" You ask him.
He bellows out a deep laugh, "now all that question tells me is that you're new here, aren't you?" He retorts back.
You simply nod in acceptance to his claim.
"Well, it's a long story and the play goes over it in greater detail. I came to this village many, many years ago. Just a very young man back then, and I single handedly stopped a rampaging tyrant and his demon militia from inhabiting this land long ago," he tells you. "They call me that here because of my skill with chakra, and my likeness in spirit to the monsters I fought long ago." He finishes
Well.. that's certainly something, you're unsure of whether you should actually believe that claim or not. There's no doubt in your mind this man is a skilled acrobat though at the very least.
"Right, well since you're an all powerful sage are you able to translate a scroll for me?" You ask
He sucks in a sharp breath suddenly, " a scroll?" He responds. "What kind of scroll?" He asks.
You tell him about your family passing down a strange scroll that seems to detail different techniques not unlike the one he presented a short while ago.
"I... have not seen one such thing in quite a while. We can discuss this later on today in private, currently I still have some business to attend to" he tells you. He writes down his address on a small slip of paper and hands it to you. You accept it and make a mental note to bring the scroll with you next time if you visit this strange man.
"I'm afraid I must go now ms..?" He questions you.
"Hirayama, Aki." You tell him
He smiles, "until later, Aki-kun." He waves goodbye and takes off.
Eventually after he leaves, Hitomi and Saichii wake up from their smelly slumber. They ask you what happen and you fill them in on the details, overall, your hangout with them was pretty action packed, it's not often your friends get knocked out in front of you. They don't seem too bothered bit it, except for Hitomi who finds the whole thing embarrassing. You all spend a bit more time together, talking about maybe even walking to school together tomorrow on the first day back. Both Hitomi and Saichii say there farewells after a while.
