Oh easy! So first you'll wanna form your patty, 5oz is a pretty good size for a burger!
Try to get it as round as possible! If you don't have a burger press then you can totally just use two parchment papers, one on each side, and smash it down with the bottom of a plate haha!

Wash your hands after so you don't get burger stuff everywhere LOL
Then turn on your heat! I'd say something medium is good! like 4ish~5ish!
Next think you'll wanna do is season both sides of the patty
A good mix is just salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder! Be sure to season one side, and then that'll be on the bottom of the pan first, then season the other side!
You only really need to flip a burger once, but it's ok to do so multiple times
You'll know when it's a good time to flip it cause the sides will start to get darker! Once it gets about halfway then it's a good time to flip! Do the same with the other side, and when you're nearly there you can throw some cheese one there! I like to just use 2 slices skewed from each other! Put the pan lid on top to melt the cheese faster and you're done!
If you're adding bacon then you can cook that as the burger is going, then as the burger is resting you can put your buns in the same pan for the flavor! Once you toast em up, I like to put garlic butter on it!
