This would be like if YouTube decided to publicly post the licenses of all of their users "by mistake" on Google images for everybody to see.
That's what we're dealing with here.

A platform owner was careless, or deliberately careless enough to publicly expose the data of innocent civilians.
They had a PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE MOBILE DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM DATABASE which even a TODDLER could have accessed, with a FIVE year old phone, using NOTHING but Safari, or Google Chrome.
Do you understand the significance of that?

It does not qualify for cyber crime under the definition because the information and data wasn't unauthorised. It was authorised at the coding level either by somebody in charge of the database or somebody who happened to stumble upon an exploit in what was otherwise an extremely poorly coded platform.
The responsibility of this directly lies with Sean Cook, and the women who decided to upload their identities and real life identification cards to an otherwise UNSAFE platform.
