Wish they went with Hanyuu as the villain in Gou, imagine a higu prequel set 100+ years earlier when watanagashi is still a human sacrifice ceremony (and Hanyuu embodies the malevolent side of Oyashiro-sama). It could follow some unwitting outsider as the seemingly friendly village turns against him, like Onikakushi but the danger isn't just paranoia. Something like the Wicker Man but set in feudal Japan.
