At this point I'm convinced this whole "scandal" is theater so that TPTB can wrap up the case (in the public's eyes anyway) and get Maxwell out of prison. I don't think Trump is actually an idiot, but he's been acting uncharacteristically retarded throughout this whole thing. Feels like misdirection.
