Here's the latest HVV map, and the final one that'll deal with Mertia. In the game's sequel, a cult leader opened a second hell-gate because he had an awful life and couldn't stand anyone else being happy. Eventually, of course, he turned into a megalomaniac who wanted to rule both worlds. At first, I thought of giving him his own slice of territory, but I decided against it, since I would be double-dipping with enemy factions, since he uses Mertia demons as his henchmen. So instead, since the Mertians are interdimensional and thus don't have to worry about logistics, I merged his territory with theirs and slightly trimmed both slices so that the Mertians aren't overwhelming the map. My action also provides more flexibility for future territorial divisions, since the Mertians already occupy two locations and therefore can receive more cuts here and there to provide space for other factions without gimping them.
