Gone are those struggling days of hunter-gatherers afraid of being made into lunch, as modern food-consumers now instead are presented with a wealth of foods and food preparations, each with its own unique sweetness and savoriness.
This is a step away from the truth of what food is, a fantasy begotten by a luxurious position curious to experience the thrill of the perversely forbidden, what instinct tells the body to fear, but what the curious questing mind desires to explore.
And so the curious food TFee decides to become a meal -
...and is faced with the surprisingly complex problems of being made into a foodstuff.
