It definitely depends both on what board and the specific individual thread within the board. As a whole I would expect that the average age has drifted up due to the greatly lessened cultural relevance of imageboards in the greater internet ecosystem, but you can still get the sense that it's a comparatively younger crowd on the fast boards/threads.
