Am I the only one who REALLY fucking hates this term? It only entered common parlance because of one shitty video game from 15 years ago and it isn't even really used within the US Military. The technical term is "special mission unit" and the formations in question (Delta Force, DEVGRU, etc.) are all part of JSOC.

I know this sounds like really fucking autistic, but 99.9% I hear the term being used, it's by actual fucking clueless idiots.
