Its just the dichotomy of peoples relationship with very attractive women. Men are attracted to her and want to be with her, but in the back of their head they all know that they would never have a shot with her so they hate her for it and react with nasty insults as a sort of coping mechanism of hurting her before she hurts them. Women also are attracted to her and wish they could generate the same sort of attention from men, but are jealous of her because they arent and also cope by being mean to her.
I think people dont like to admit it because its sort of a privileged state, but being an attractive woman, especially a giga stacy, can have its negative sides like this. Especially her being a giga stacy from some small redneck town in BFE, Canada, Im sure she's had to deal with this sort of thing her whole life.
