eh, MHY dupe system is cancerous but it could be okay if they simply scaled boosts better. General idea is that you give biggest boosts at the beginning to entice people to roll for copies, then something enticing in the middle and at the very end, but still in terms of power it should be first > last > middle, this way you tempt people to initiate spending and don't antagonize bottom which makes whales look good in comparison because best upgrades are within their reach. Dupe scaling isn't bad for dolls like Vector or Suomi. Even Klukai and Springfield aren't that awful in terms of scaling balance when you throw out of equation that they are powercreep that damages game. But Quihua for example has atrocious scaling.

GF2 main story isn't bad, it's comparable to GF1 which was also convoluted but in the end made sense. What changes is proportions. in GF1 we had most story and events being serious with mini-events being humorous, in GF2 split shifted a lot and now most events are humorous side-stories.

Wrong. You assume gachas are to be judged by the same standards as normal games. By standards of normal games sure, gameplay isn't anything special, but when you consider gachas are games you're supposed to play on transit to work, in breaks, while taking a shit or before bed in quick bursts, because their primary target is asian salarymen and spergs who find comfort in routine, progression and not having to look for other distractions due to constant stream of new content, this little gameplay there is does matter between gachas. GF2, AK or even FEH have MUCH better gameplay than fucking AL for example. I'd know because I dropped AL and Nikke because of how awful and broing gameplay was.

Eh, not really. Action strategy, maintaining conga lines in rankings on overmap was good. Micromanaging dolls in battle was pretty shitty. Problem of GF2 is powercreep killing half mechanics.
