Any BA story that doesn't have sensei or removes sensei has missed the point. The story literally shows you what happens in a world where sensei isn't there, and everyone dies. Trying to say the story can happen just as easily without sensei is a middle finger and NTR to every person playing the game, its something you would only do if you want to instantly kill the game.
People wanted sensei to act more like game sensei, and not act like a total bitch who's always "eto...umm, haha I don't know, just let the girls handle it all" about every problem. Be a damn adult and show some backbone instead of acting like a teenager. Anime sensei was too afraid to even sit next to the girls at the restaurant, he was too afraid to share a water bottle or get a piggyback ride with Shiroko, he was as weak willed as possible, he was basically a child pretending to be an adult.
They didn't want sensei removed or for girls to constantly point to sensei who is always conveniently slightly off screen, they wanted him to not act like a total bitch, they wanted an adult and instead they got a teenager.
