Russians as a whole are apathetic. They keep their head down and just trying to survive, willfully ignorant and don't want to speak on it, just quietly curse and complain under their breath while also emotionally defending the motherland as soon as anyone criticizes it and points out the truth.

So, as a whole, NOTHING changed and Russian populace is more demoralized than ever. Navalny's death wasn't a catalyzing moment of martyrdom, put a pathetic whimper of the last vestige of Russian defiance against the oligarchic kleptocracy that has plagued the country to a state of militant nihilism.
