Mikan is worse than annoying, she's a next level attention whore who DOES commit murder, and you can't use your cope of being under the disease when technically they all got brainwashed and technically she was the first to fall in love with Junko and eat her despair out behind the school's building before anyone even realized anything was going on.
Even if they're both "murderers" (Komaeda Never Killed Anyone), Mikan does it without a purpose but because she gets turned on from it, Komaeda atleast has his delusion of striving towards the absolute good of Hope after as much despair as possible.
