Got bedbugs once 3 years ago but caught them early on. Still threw out the mattress and heat cleaned the fuck out of the fabrics. Then diatomaceous earth finished off the leftovers. That shits cool with how it slices them up and dries them out. Can't evolve your way out of that, you bastards!
Still get itch scares now and then and refuse to sit down on any public seating without thorough inspection because I'm pretty sure they hitched a ride from some random seat.
