There are now two countries trying to play both sides of the Lunar Cold War, China's ILRS program and Trump's Artemis Accords. The first was Thailand in December, the second is Senegal as of now. Interestingly they are both coming from an ILRS-alone posture. To date no existing Artemis Accords member has ever joined ILRS.
So in regards to the jungle slapfight in Southeast Asia, we have one belligerent trying to be on both sides of the Lunar Cold War and one belligerent who is completely unengaged, which is why the US is not doing jack shit to intervene. If the Thais drop out of ILRS and sign a Trump trade deal we'll probably help them in their war.
