I'm not a faggot and I didn't read the thread but everybody always says that a 27" 1440p monitor is the sweet spot now but whenever I've tried one the screen feels too big to comfortably use. It's just a wall of light constantly blasting my face no matter how low I set the brightness and the eye travel is annoying to put up with. I have an Ultragear 27" I bought last year when my other monitor died and it's just sitting in a box because I was too lazy to return it and I'm back to using a 24" 1080p Asus monitor which I got for cheap. 24" 1080p 120+Hz IPS monitors will always be perfect for me.
