Granblue actually uses an assembly line system. The overall style is dictated by the art director while one person does drafts, one does cleanup, one does coloring, one does shading, etc. They've been phoning it in very badly the past 5 or so years though, enough that people mock it as AI-generated. Granblue originally wrote characters based on the design, but now the writers specifically request designs, which may also have a hand in the decline.
