ok I have a theory hear me out here
one of the reasons for the Absolute State^tm of /v/ right now is that this place is full of normalfags, and among other things, the average modern normie is more feminized
this has to do with a whole outside culture i'm not gonna get into, but point being-
>normies have become more effeminate
>normie tourists came to /v/
>the average /v/ user is a complete and utter normalfag who likely never used the web before he got his first iphone
this leads us to the many many issues we see on the board today
the petty passive agressive manner in which anons speak for example
"um... uh oh, our response?" "what did they mean by this?" [posts image of thing they disagree with] "haha sooo true, right, /v/? well. /v/?" so on and so on, there are all disingenuous ways of communication that are usually used by teen girls
the old 4chan audience was men, mostly autistic men, neither masculinity nor autism befit talking in this manipulative sort of way
likewise the overemotionality, the groupthink, the "if you're not with me you're my enemy", getting heated over "percieved" wrongdoings aka "i have no evidence to assume you're my enemy, but you give me that viiiiibe" leading to a never ending victim complex
and most evidently? their fixation on physical appearances
the 'chad' meme being taken seriously, /v/ users actually legitimately getting, as they say, "ick"s over fictional characters and real people alike not being visually conventionally attractive enough, basing their opinions on individuals within vidya communities on appearances alone... and their response to ugly features in character customization
have you ever seen the difference in how men design characters vs how women do it? men make em silly looking, women try and make em as cute as possible, guys design the shit on the left, women like to design the shit on the right. so why now does the average /v/ user screech when they get ugly features in chara customization? they're feminized
