i think i can just make xander thick enough that he doesn't even get damaged. and the AI for the top reinforcements still wants to attack him because they deal damage through their savage blow.
but i think i need to swap out laslow for jakob in the people who kill the bottom reinforcements. it would be nice to have a healer helping the main force.
