As I've said, I hate the futabus for a reason, yeah.
Nothing like that ever happens again though and I'm assuming it probably wasn't well received as a result (gee I wonder why).
If it makes you feel any better, the futabus is one of the only individuals who does consistently get punished for their antics, and their introduction does so in what's the most unexpectedly brutal way short of actually killing them again their dick gets cut off that I still find pretty funny for how quickly it escalates to that and how proud the Protagonist is to "win".
and then she tries the protagonist, again, and then gets their dick cut off, again.
Actually, I'm playing through Chapter 3 again right now, so I'll see if I can find the gag image they used. But all things aside, the opening is genuinely pretty funny, with things like the narrator suddenly realizing they forgot to include the ghost girl giving them supplies in the previous chapter and then asking you to understand that was always supposed to happen and it's not just contrived, the Dragon Girl calling everyone else a sissy for complaining in the desert while suffering heat-stroke midsentence and, well, this.
