Classic title reversal. It was already somewhat obvious last chapter though.
The plan clearly always was for Ayame to be actually shy behind her neuroticism, I’m wondering though if Shiraishi was always supposed to be just very introverted but capable enough if need be around other people or if that was retconned due to the axe and was originally planned for a longer character development arc.
Given how this Shiraishi does feel a bit weird I’m gravitating towards the latter.
